“Immunicity is completely free to use, it doesn’t require any registration or any software to be installed. You can turn it on and off easily by reversing the setting change,” according to their website.

The simple explanation of how does it works:

“Once you have configured your browser to use Immunicity, when and only when you attempt to access a website that is typically censored, your browser will route your request via our servers. Any other request, for example to Google or Facebook, will go directly to the destination without passing through our servers.”

How to set Internet Explorer to use Immunicity to unblock sites:

STEP 1: Go to Start then Control Panel. (Windows 8 users hover your mouse to the bottom right, click Settings, then click Control Panel)

STEP 2: Find Internet Options (sometimes under Network and Internet), then go to the Connections tab.

STEP 3: At the bottom, click the LAN settings button.

STEP 4: A new dialog will appear. Tick the box that says Use automatic configuration script.

STEP 5: In the address field, paste in the following: http://clientconfig.immunicity.org/pacs/all.pac

STEP 6: Press OK, then OK on the Internet Options diaglog.

How to set Mozilla Firefox to use Immunicity to unblock sites:

STEP 1: In Mozilla Firefox, go to Options. In Windows, click the Firefox button then choose Options, or go to Tools, then Options. In Mac OS X, go to Firefox, then Preferences. In Linux, go to Tools, Options.

STEP 2: Go to the Advanced tab, then go to the Network tab.

STEP 3: Click Settings next to Configure how Firefox connects to the Internet.

STEP 4: Select Automatic proxy configuration URL.

STEP 5: In the text field, paste in the following: http://clientconfig.immunicity.org/pacs/all.pac

STEP 6: Press OK, then OK on the Options diaglog.

How to set Google Chrome to use Immunicity to unblock sites:

STEP 1: In Google Chrome, click the menu button to the right of the URL bar, and choose Settings.

STEP 2: At the bottom, click the Show advanced settings… link.

STEP 3: Under Network, click Change proxy settings.

STEP 4: On Windows, at the bottom click the LAN settings button. A new dialog will appear. Tick the box that says Use automatic configuration script.

On Mac OS X, tick Automatic Proxy Configuration.

On Linux, click Network proxy, select Automatic from the Method drop down menu.

STEP 5: In the address field, paste in the following: http://clientconfig.immunicity.org/pacs/all.pac

STEP 6: Close the dialogs to save the settings. On Mac OS X, press Apply first.

NOTE: You may have to reboot before it works.

How to set Opera to use Immunicity to unblock sites:

STEP 1: In Opera, go to Settings.

STEP 2: Under Network, click Change proxy settings.

STEP 3: On Windows, at the bottom click the LAN settings button. A new dialog will appear. Tick the box that says Use automatic configuration script.

On Mac OS X, tick Automatic Proxy Configuration.

On Linux, click Network proxy, select Automatic from the Method drop down menu.

STEP 4: In the address field, paste in the following: http://clientconfig.immunicity.org/pacs/all.pac

STEP 5: Close the dialogs to save the settings. On Mac OS X, press Apply first.
