P1 WiMAX WPA-PSK Setting
WEP or Wired Equivalent Privacy is a security algorithm that wireless networks use. WEP encryption is weak, it can be discovered by using simple command.
While WPA or Wi-Fi Protected Access is a special certification program that offers a security protocol that makes it much more difficult to break into the network.

Here is how you can change the router setting, just follow below step-by-step tutorial.
How to change P1 router security from WEP to WPA-PSK:
STEP 1: Go to http://10.1.1.254 using your browser.
STEP 2: Key in your username (admin) and password (admin123), unless you have change the password.
STEP 3: Click on “Networking” at the top right of the page.
STEP 4: Click on “WIFI”.
STEP 5: Click “Next”.
STEP 6: Under “Security Setting” menu, change the “Security Mode” from “WEP” to “WPA-PSK” from the drop down list.
STEP 7: Just leave the “Auth Mode” selection to the its default selection.
STEP 8: For “Encryp Type”, choose either one of the three list offered in the drop down box, which is TKIP, AES or TKIPAES.
STEP 9: Key in your password into “WPAPSK” box (your password should contain both letters and numbers).
STEP 10: Click “Apply” and you are done.
You will be disconnected from the connection. To re-connect, use the new WPA-PSK connection and new password.
